R.STAT
A dynamic and innovative SME specializing in the last 40 years the development and production of antistatic, conductive, thermo-resistant and antibacterial fibres for numerous industrial applications
Our business : To protect people and their equipment.
- Protection against risks caused by static electricity and electrostatic discharges
- Anti-bacterial protection.
- Protection against very high temperatures in industry.
- Protection against electromagnetic waves.
Located close to Lyon, R.STAT uses its technology and competitiveness to develop with and for its customers the most successful solutions.
Our history:
- Middle of the 70's: Rhône-Poulenc/Rhodia create Rhodiastat, a polyamide fibre with a suffused copper layer based on an exclusive and patented process. This fibre offers good antistatic and bacterial properties.
- 1997 : The activity of Rhodiastat is acquired by Philippe SANNEJAN who immediately launches a modernization plan for the factory and the development of new products.
- 2000 : Launch of Polyester fibres and yarns suffused with a copper layer.
- 2002 : Introduction of the R.STAT/S range, composed of stainless steel fibres and yarns with intrinsic conductive and thermo-resistant properties, opening to the company a wide field of new application.
- 2007 : Commencement of the silveR.STAT® range, polyamide fibres and yarns covered with a layer of pure silver intimately bonded onto the polymer. This new range brings significant improvement of performance : conductivity and resistance to physical and chemical reactions (industrial treatments, washings, abrasion, etc …)
- 2011 : Launching of SilverShield surfaces, a true shield against electromagnetic waves thanks to an exclusive combination of stainless steel and silver polyamide fibres.
